The Best Water Bottles For Dogs: Bübi

Best Dog Bowl for Adventures - Bubi Bowl Featured Image

So, we reached out to Bübi brands and were delighted when they agreed to send us a couple of samples of their products to test and review. Here’s why we think it’s one of the best water bottles for dogs!

We brought out pup, Hoolie, down to Costa Rica with us for the winter of 2018-2019. In preparation, we considered those long walks on the beach and how to keep him hydrated so he wouldn’t drink salt water (been there, done that, it’s not pretty).

The Bübi Bottle

The 22-ounce Bübi bottle holds plenty of water for an afternoon adventure to the beach or a morning hike to your local waterfall. The bottle is insulated and made of the same silicone material as the bowl, which makes it durable and easily collapsible once it’s empty.

It’s also microwave and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. When it needs a really thorough cleaning, you can turn it completely inside out and either place it in the dishwasher or hand-washed.

Furthermore, the bottle is BPA-free and resistant to both heat and cold. The bottle can withstand temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius and down to -100 degrees Celsius. This means you can boil water over a fire or freeze the entire bottle for a relieving cold compress on an, especially hot day. The bottle is also shatterproof and meets FDA, Rhol, and Asian safety standards.

The Bübi Bowl

The Bübi bowl is as compact as it gets. When collapsed, it easily fits in your back pocket or the water bottle sleeve of your backpack. It’s durable and flexible enough so that you don’t have to worry about damaging it when stowing it away.

It’s the perfect bowl for on-the-go travelers with pets or babies. We hardly notice it’s there until we need it, which goes a long way when you’re carrying a bunch of additional gear for yourself and your pup.

About The Bübi Brand

The Bübi brand set out to create a new water bottle that’s convenient to use and easy to store when you’re done with it. Their CEO and Founder, Craig Madaus, says: “What began as a sailing adventure in rough seas became a goal to make hydration convenient while having less plastic pollution on our planet.”

Today, Bübi products are used widely by a number of recognized companies, including Google, Yahoo!, and the Girl Scouts.

What We Like About Bübi

We are the kind of folks that carry water bottles with us wherever we go. Because we live in Costa Rica at present, it’s really important for us to keep our water cold throughout the day, which is why we go with larger, insulated metal water bottles.

But, we typically don’t prefer to carry another mammoth bottle with us for our pup. That’s why the Bübi bottle and bowl have been such an awesome addition to our hiking/outdoor gear arsenal.

We fill the bottle at home and slide it into the water bottle pouch of our backpack before heading for the beach. Once we get there (or if we need to make a stop along the way), we have a water source ready for our pup and a bowl readily attached that he actually likes drinking out of! The combination bottle-bowl eliminates that annoying fiddling through your pack to find where the bowl eventually settled throughout your hike.

We also enjoy how easy it is to clean the Bübi bowl and bottle, as well as the fact that the bottle easily rolls up and stores in our pack so that we have extra room for any groceries or supplies we decide to pick up on the way home.

While we haven’t put the bottle to use for these purposes yet, we’re also excited to try boiling water right over the fire in the bottle, as well as freezing it to use as a cold compress on hot days.

Our Final Say On The Bübi

Overall, the Bübi bowl and bottle is an excellent addition to our travel gear. Our pup loves drinking out of the bowl and we love the fact that we can have a separate water source dedicated to him for all of our adventures.

It’s extremely convenient not to worry about whether you remembered something for the dog to drink out of before hitting the trail. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that loves adventuring with their dog and hasn’t found a good solution for carrying water and keeping their pup hydrated on-the-go!

This is one of the new and the best bowl product that I have found for my dog, I haven’t seen anything like this before. This bowl looks really portable to carry around and I’m definitely going to buy this. It has a nice colour, I like it’s style and the price is really affordable for me.

Thank you so much for sharing this post

You’re welcome! The bottle comes in three different sizes, depending on how much water you want to carry. You can even put it in the freezer for several hours before you go out so water stays cold all day!

Hi! I really like this solution! Carrying something for our puppy to drink has always been dificult. Sometimes we just simply forget. But in other ocasions it is just so uncomfortable when carrying a bunch of additional gear for us and our puppy. And I love the Bübi bowl and bottle. The colors are cool and they are durable. I also appreciate the fact that the bottle is BPA-free.

Yes, these bottles are SUPER durable! Not sure I’ve ever heard of a bottle you can place directly in the fire to boil water. If you buy one, let me know what you think once you’ve used it!
